We get it! Choosing the perfect entertainment for your wedding day can be a bit of a minefield! It can be tricky to know what fits with your venue, what might be best enjoyed by your guests and ultimately what’s available within your wedding budget.

Below are our top 10 recommendations wedding entertainment – many of which Cornwall Hire provides at competitive prices. For other services we are always happy to recommend some great fellow suppliers who will not disappoint.

Wedding Themed Mini-golf:

Our handmade mini-golf course has proved very popular in 2023 and is a great way to get your guests at your wedding engaged and enjoying themselves. We offer a 9 hole course which is all wedding themed. The sides are white, the grass is green and we have everything in between including obstacles such as a three tier wedding cake, Mr & Mrs sign, horse shoes, love hearts and a even a gorgeous wooden chapel!

We provide a rainbow of coloured ‘low bounce’ golf balls, meaning they are safer to use at various wedding venues. Our 9 hole mini-golf holes can be used both inside and outside so a good option if outside space is limited. If the golf is played outside we also include red numbered flags which can be inserted into the lawn next to each hole. We also include a chalk leaderboard sign so that guests can get competitive by marking down their own scores and competing to be top of the leaderboard!

Bands, DJs or Live Music:

Adding live music to your special day will create the perfect ambience. From solo vocalists and guitarists through to string quartets and pianists, there are plenty of talented musicians in Cornwall available to enhance your wedding celebrations. To really get the party going, you might consider having a wedding band or DJ. There are plenty of wedding bands and DJs available in Cornwall and they will ensure you have a fun night full of great music on the dance floor. Photo Pod:

A photo pod is an excellent idea as it’s not only tons of fun, but will provide you and your guests with great memories to take away after the day. Here at Cornwall Hire we have 2 rustic digital selfie pods who we have named Vinnie and Vera! The vintage selfie pods come with the option of digital prints or upgraded to classic photo prints . We always provide a selection of fun props and dressing up attire including hats, feather boa’s, glasses, wigs and blow up objects. All hires also include a backdrop, which can be upgraded to a sequin wall for those extra special snaps! Our photo pods not only take photos but are kitted out with many features including the ability to take boomerangs, gifs, videos and allows guests to instantly email, air drop and share on social media.  How cool is that?!

Caricaturist:

A caricaturist is a great way to keep your guests entertained and provide them with a unique memento of your special day. A skilled artist will be able to capture each guest’s personality in a fun cartoon drawing which they can take home as a souvenir. Caricatures generally take around 5-10 minutes per person, so it’s a great way to keep guests busy whilst you have your speeches and photos taken.
